Project Management : Overview

This sight contains information and resources in the area of project management. The focus is on introductions and primers. Articles seek to introduce a topic in a couple of pages then give links to other sites and books where detailed information can be found.

This site is maintained by Significant Data Systems and is our contribution to the online project management community. We maintain it because we at Significant make the kind of flexible light weight information management systems which are most appropriate in a project environment.

You can access articles on any aspect of project management by selecting the general area in the top menu then selecting an article down the left hand side.

Resources are indexed by subject area so an article on Prince 2 will be accompanied by book reviews and web links appropriate to Prince 2.

For beginners as well as experts.

The language used on this site presumes little about your the readers existing knowledge. Each article presumes you know little or nothing about project management. This does not mean the information is at a low level, just that technical language is avoided where ever possible.
